Bablu Sk. was my father. He left behind my mother, younger sister and my brother. My father was a very down-to-earth person who would keep all his sufferings to himself and never expressed them before others. Both me and my sister are married, my brother is unemployed; nobody can share my mother’s pain.
My father was a jute farmer, and the sole earning member of our family. He has endured a lot to get us, sisters, married. I feel sad that we will not be able to see him anymore, the person who put our welfare before his.
